IRELAND’S Olympic rowing team has been confirmed for the Paris Games featuring six medallists.
Paul O’Donovan will team up with Fintan McCarthy in the men’s lightweight double sculls.

In Rio, O’Donovan claimed silver with brother Gary in the discipline before going one better with his current partner in Tokyo three years ago.
Emily Hegarty and Eimear Lambe are the survivors from the women’s four which took bronze in Japan.
The other two members of that crew – Aifric Keogh and Fiona Murtagh – will compete in the pair.
Aoife Casey and Margaret Cremen will compete in the women’s lightweight double sculls for a second successive Games with Philip Doyle – who also raced in Tokyo – joined by Daire Lynch in the men’s double sculls.
