DAMIEN DUFF has handed Kameron Ledwidge – ‘the third grumpiest person’ at Shelbourne – a new deal.
Ledwidge, 23, joined Shels from Southampton in 2021 and helped Ian Morris’ side win promotion that season.

And he has remained an important part of Duff’s plans who joked that the defender rivalled him and his assistant Joey O’Brien in the irritable stakes.
Duff said: “The third grumpiest person at the club, after myself and Joe. It is brilliant news that Kam has committed his future to Shels.
“He has absolutely amazing attributes that any player would want.
“This year he has added a real maturity to his game and has put in some outstanding displays. It is a pleasure watching Kam grow as a player and more importantly as a person.”
Ledwidge was happy to commit himself to Shels for the foreseeable future after 20 appearance this season, 12 as a starter.
The Ballymun man said: “I’m delighted to be signing a new deal for this great club, I want to thank the manager and the coaching staff for trusting me to be part of the process going forward and also putting their trust in me to help get the club back where it belongs and winning trophies.
“I cannot wait for the second half of the season to get going and European football to start. It’s a privilege to play in front of the best fans in the country every week and play for a club as big as Shelbourne.”
